ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

New Zealand’s Population Conference 2025 will be held 10-11 July at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. This year’s theme is Population, Growth and Social Cohesion. As always, the conference is organised by the Population Association of New Zealand | Te Roopu Waihanga Iwi O Aotearoa. Click here to download the conference flyer and here for the draft programme.

Submissions for the Stats NZ Jacoby Prize for best student essay and PANZ Newell Award for best student poster are now CLOSED. Winners will be notified by 6 June

Notification of all other paper/poster acceptance by this date.
May 23: Registration deadline for presenters
